Participants of this international training course are requested to prepare by doing some research into the NLP that we will use as a model for our learning about Mental Health Promotion. They do this through the Learning Activities:

For the first 6 days of the Mobility, participants will experience youth work activities and reflect on their learning from that day using the following Learning Activities:

The Second Part of the Mobility
Participants will transfer their learning into (digital) learning activities for the people they work with and participate in a youth work market with local youth work organisations.
LifeComp competence framework
To support recognition of non-formal learning and to support the development of the “Personal, Social and Learning to Learn” skills within youth work we make in this training an connection between the learning happening during the training and the LifeComp Competence Framework.
Spcifically will be worked on the following skill zones: flexibility, growth mindset, critical thinking, collaboration, self-regulation, communication, empathy, well-being and managing learning.
Open Badges
In each Learning Activity and for the total Learning Playlist participants can earn Open Badges. Sometimes the badges will be issued via checking evidence by accredited NLP practisioners, other times via international trainers and also via self-assessment by the earners itself.

“I’m inviting you, time travelling youth leaders, to step into 1883, into the world of Vincent to discover details about five life events of Vincent by meeting those who were there. Each person you will meet has some relation with Vincent and a specific task that you need to complete as a group to get a part of Vincent's story. I'm challenging all groups to come up with a small activity that you could organise for Vincent that would benefit his needs or that would match his interest“ - story teller
This activity has been developed for the international training course Menthal Health Promotion in the Youth Field. Participants will experience a non formal way to promote mental health awareness and start talking with youth about importance of mental health.
The participants group is devided in 5 groups.
3 levels:
Level 1: Tasks at every station (character) to complete as a group. After fulfilling the task the groups gets a clue about Vincent. Tasks take a maximum of 3 to 5 mins. Each group has a paper where they can writ the life events and relation with Vincent, after a full card the group visits the the story teller to be transported to level 2.
Level 2: Talk in your group about the interests of Vincent. As a youth leader, where are Vincent's mental health struggles, which parts of life are helpful for him and can he build on? How could you support him?
Level 3: Rounding up in the total group. What have you learned? What can you use in your peer work with young people?
The holder of this badge took part in a timetraveling activity and stept into the year1883, into the world of Vincent van Gogh to discover details about five life events of Vincent by meeting those who were there.
