This playlist empowers you to explore, support, and take action toward improving mental health and well-being—for yourself and those around you. Through engaging activities, you will learn to recognise your strengths, understand your rights, provide mental health support, and raise awareness about mental health issues in your community. Each activity is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and flexible, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably and meaningfully.

By completing this playlist, you’ll gain the skills to become a mental health advocate, make positive changes in your community, and promote well-being for yourself and others. You’ll also develop valuable communication, empathy, advocacy, and leadership abilities—all essential in building a healthier, more supportive world.


Why should you care?

  • Boost self-awareness: Learn to identify and appreciate your strengths, building confidence and resilience.
  • Know your rights: Understand your mental health rights in education, work, and healthcare and learn how to advocate for yourself and others.
  • Support others: Gain practical skills in mental health first aid to confidently offer help when someone is struggling.
  • Promote inclusivity: Learn how to make mental health support accessible and welcoming for people from all backgrounds.
  • Raise awareness: Lead or contribute to campaigns that spread important mental health messages, helping reduce stigma and promote well-being in your community.

How partners and organisations in Cities of Learning can support you:
  • Highlight success stories: Share inspiring examples of young people leading mental health initiatives in their communities.
  • Encourage participation: Use social media and local outreach to motivate more young people to join the activities and promote mental well-being.
  • Create connections: Help young people connect with local mental health resources, support networks, and other youth initiatives.
  • Organise events: Partner with local organisations to host wellness workshops, support groups, and awareness campaigns focused on mental health.
  • Promote ongoing engagement: Use the platform to share the campaign results and encourage continued efforts to promote mental health awareness.
