2. Essentials of Open Badges

This badge is issued for accessing and viewing all content of the "Essentials of Open Badges" session offered during the online course "21st-century skills and recognition with Open Badges" which is implemented within the strategic capacity-building project "Digital Generation Youth". This project is part of the Cities of Learning initiative.

intro to Open Badges standard and its unique features
tips on how to create a good badge
defining objectives for using badges
badge types
discussing and sharing reasons for using badges
