Tasks
Task no.1
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Make a plan with your coach about which tasks you will perform to master the following skills:
  • distinguishing digital tools and technologies that can be used to create knowledge and innovate processes and products,
  • and participating individually and collectively in cognitive processing to understand and solve conceptual problems and problem situations in digital environments.

Examples to develop these skills:
Example 1: Imagine there is an important development project planned in your neighborhood. As a resident, you can use digital tools such as online petition platforms, social media, and online forums to mobilize fellow residents and make your voice heard. For instance, you can start an online petition expressing your concerns about the project's impact on the neighborhood and share it on social media. By using digital tools, you can reach a wider audience and create broader support for your stance. Additionally, you can participate in online discussions and forums about the project to gain insight into the different perspectives and positions of fellow residents. By actively listening and participating in discussions, you can better understand the factors at play in the project and how they affect the neighborhood. By using digital tools effectively, citizens can make their voices heard and contribute to constructive decision-making for the development of their community.

Example 2: Suppose you are interested in reducing waste in your neighborhood. You can use digital tools to raise awareness and inspire others to join in. For example, use social media, start a campaign, share tips and ideas about how people can make changes in their daily lives. Use a digital platform, such as neighborhood groups via WhatsApp, the municipality forum, or website to share ideas. You can also organize an online event or a virtual workshop.

Step 1: Explore digital tools that are useful for you to use.
Step 2: Choose a problem or situation you want to solve or address, and choose the right digital tool to practice with.
Step 3: Apply the acquired knowledge about the tool in practice to solve/address the situation. Learn from your experiences and use this knowledge to tackle new situations using digital tools.

But it doesn't stop there - increase the value of your badge by adding your learning process and achievements to your badge. This allows potential employers to gain a better understanding of your digital skills.
