Tasks
Task no.1
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Make a plan with your coach about which tasks you will perform to gain control over the following skills:
  • Finding solutions to complex problems with many interacting factors using digital tools and possible technological solutions, and adapting digital environments and aligning them with personal needs.
  • Recommending new ideas and processes for the domain.

Examples to develop these skills:
Example 1: Imagine that you work for a company that wants to launch a new digital platform for their customers. The platform must be user-friendly and meet the needs of customers. You are tasked with analyzing the needs of customers and looking at which digital tools and technological solutions fit these needs.
You start by researching the needs of customers and trends in the digital world. Then, you identify which digital tools and technological solutions best fit these needs. You analyze the different options and select the most suitable solutions.
Now it's time to implement these solutions and adapt the digital environment to meet the needs of customers. You choose the most appropriate methods to adjust the digital environment and test them extensively to ensure that they meet the needs of customers.
Finally, it's time to recommend new ideas and processes for the domain. After performing the analysis and testing the solutions, you have gained new insights that you can use to further improve the customer experience. You present these new ideas and processes to your team and propose to implement them.

Example 2: Imagine someone making their own jewelry and wanting to sell it via a web store. To make the sales process as efficient as possible and offer customers the best experience, this person can use different digital tools and technological solutions to streamline the process and adapt it to their personal needs.
A possible challenge could be how this person can keep track of and update their jewelry inventory. This can be solved by using digital tools such as inventory management software or apps. The person can consider different options, such as manual entry or scanning barcodes to keep track of inventory and process orders. Another challenge could be how this person can present their jewelry to potential customers. Here, the person can use digital tools such as photography or video editing software to create professional photos and videos of the jewelry, and then present them on a website or social media. Finally, this person can recommend new ideas and processes for their jewelry line. They can use digital tools and technological solutions to analyze and evaluate their products, such as sales analytics or customer feedback. Based on this information, the person can develop new products, come up with new marketing strategies, and optimize their sales process to meet the needs of their customers.

Step 1: Come up with a complex situation
Step 2: Find solutions to the problems using digital tools and possible technological solutions, and adapt digital environments
Step 3: Align these solutions with personal needs
Step 4: Share your new ideas and processes for the problem

But it doesn't end there - increase the value of your badge by adding your learning process and achievements to it. This allows potential employers to gain a better understanding of your digital skills.
